Qualifications Required

• Minimum 2 year previous line cook experience
• Must have FOODSAFE Level 1
• Ability to cooperate and work strongly with others in team
• Capability to organize and prioritize high volume / demand workloads
• Knowledge and adherence SPRC policies as written in our policy manual
• Knowledge and adherence of all junior positions and their job descriptions

Primary Responsibilities

• Prepares work stations according to restaurant guidelines
• Prepares all food items as directed in a sanitary and timely manner
• Follows recipes, portion controls, and presentation specifications as set by the restaurant
• Restocks all items as needed throughout the shift
• Cleans and maintains station while practicing exceptional safety, sanitation and organizational skills
• Has understanding and knowledge of how to properly use and maintain all equipment in the station
• Assists with the cleaning, sanitation, and organization of the kitchen, walk-in coolers and all storage areas
• Performs additional responsibilities as requested by the Sous Chef at any time

Secondary Responsibilities

• Attend all required SPRC orientation and training sessions
• Duties as required to ensure successful operation of the department including support of other departments and special promotions and events.
• Assisting with orientation of new employees
