The ski patrol is responsible for providing and promoting a safe environment for our guests and employees while executing exceptional guest service; as ambassadors to promoting safe skiing and riding practices, enforcers of the skier’s and rider’s responsibility code and educating our employees and guests of health and safety. As first responders to medical emergencies on the mountain, ski patrol also takes on the role of transporting injured guests off the mountain and provides general care until further support arrives. Under the guidance of the Patrol Director, you will receive a fun, interactive and teamwork oriented job experience.

Your Responsibilities Will Include


- Maintain patrol operations and dispatch
- Document and communicate all emergencies, daily information, reports and documents as required
- Observe daily weather patterns and record for Environment Canada and Canadian Avalanche Association
- Ensure all daily check sheets and all required documentation for the patrol department are completed and accurate
- Communicate and work efficiently with other rescue groups including; BC Ambulance services, RCMP, Fire Departments, Search and Rescue Services, First Responders, CSPS and EMRT

Ideal Candidates

- Current First Aid Level 1 or higher certification is an asset
- Current CPRC certificate is an asset
- Strong computer skills including Microsoft office software
- Knowledge of Sun Peaks Resort area and ski runs
